I was supposed to have a consultation with Dr. Djordjevic in Maryland in June 2006 (he visits the US frequently), but I had to cancel this consult due to travel comlications. I was finally able to make the trip to Baltimore, MD and had the consult on January 13, 2007. Consult with Dr. Meltzer Dr. Meltzer practices in Scottsdale, AZ, USA. At the recommendation of my therapist, I had a consultation with Dr. Meltzer on January 20, 2007 after he presented at a conference near where I live. Consult with Dr. Reed Dr. Reed practices in Miami, FL, USA. I was going to have a consultation with Dr. Reed in Miami, Florida in January 2006, but I ended up not going. Shortly before that I learned that the vast majority of his meta patients were unable to stand to pee. In addition to this, his emails to me were not personal, but rather painfully uniform in nature. All of this, combined with all negative outcome stories from his previous patients, I decided to abandon him as a potential surgeon for me. After having the consultations with both Dr. Miro and Dr. Meltzer, I did some of my own research and attempted to compare/contrast the pros and cons of both doctors, as outlined in Choosing a Doctor.
