The following is a summary of most of my T-related costs. The portion insurance paid (80% of total) is listed in green, and the out of pocket portion is listed in red.

Endocrinologist Appointments and Bloodwork
Although my doctor normally bills office visits as Hypogonadism, I have requested to pay out of pocket because there are still some outstanding bills pending with my insurance company for my hysterectomy. Once I change my sex designation wtih them to male, I will bill office visits and prescriptions to them. I have, however, submitted all but my first bloodwork costs to them, only one of which they partially paid for. I believe they paid for this one bloodwork, because I had some bloodwork done for my dermatologist done at the same time.

Testosterone Prescriptions
I have never willingly submitted any of my testosterone or T-related expenses to my insurance company, for fear it would raise questions about my policy and jeopardise payment of my hysterectomy when it was still pending. I know that Brooks in particular automatically tried to get my insurance to pay for my needles/syringes when I filled them there, and it has always (as expected) been rejected. I hope to be able to bill them (and that they will pay) for these prescriptions once I change my sex designation with them.

Acne Prescriptions/Dermatology Appointments
I thought I should include this as a transition expense, because I wouldn't be taking these things if it weren't for my (most likely) T-induced acne. Insurance did not pay for some of the prescriptions, because I have a maximum prescription benefit per year.
